Dr. Akram is a specialist otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat surgeon) with over 10 years of experience in the UAE. He completed four years of specialist ENT training at Jordan University Hospital in Amman (1999–2003) and undertook further training at Imperial College hospitals in London in 2005.
Dr. Akram treats a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions in adults and children. He specializes in endoscopic sinus surgery (using cameras and small instruments through the nose rather than open surgery), septoplasty to correct a deviated septum, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), removal of nasal polyps, and ear surgery.
