Dr. Sama Yasso

Dr. Sama Yasso is Director of Jumeirah Clinic and a Consultant in Family Medicine with a decade of medical experience. She trained across multiple specialties including respiratory medicine, palliative care, geriatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general surgery, and psychiatry before completing her specialist training in London in 2021. Before moving to the UAE, she worked in a busy central London practice and regularly taught medical students from prestigious universities.

Dr. Yasso provides comprehensive family medicine care across all age groups, from newborns to elderly patients. She has particular expertise in women's health, including family planning, menopause management, contraceptive insertion, cervical screening, and pre-conception advice. She also manages common acute illnesses, chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders and kidney disease, mental health concerns like anxiety and depression, musculoskeletal problems, and common ear, nose and throat issues.

Her approach centres on combining her clinical knowledge with the patient's own preferences to reach shared decisions about their care. She is passionate about preventive health, screening, and health education, and brings experience managing patients across urgent care and NHS 111 settings.
