Dr. Ahmed Tamer Farag Ahmed Mohamed is a Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at Medcare Hospital in Sharjah, with over 21 years of experience. He trained extensively in Egypt, completing his medical degree at October 6 University, followed by a master's degree and doctorate in trauma and orthopaedic surgery from Cairo University's prestigious Kasr Al Ainy Faculty of Medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK. His career spans academic and clinical roles across leading Egyptian hospitals, including positions as a lecturer and specialist at October 6 University Hospital, before relocating to the UAE.

Dr. Farag treats a broad spectrum of orthopaedic conditions across all age groups. His expertise includes complex trauma such as pelvic and acetabular fractures, acute injuries and fracture management using advanced techniques like open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF). He specialises in joint replacement surgery for the hip, knee, shoulder and ankle, and performs revision procedures for failed implants.
