Dr. Liza Wong

Dr. Liza Wong completed her entire medical training in The Netherlands, graduating as a cardiologist from Amsterdam University Medical Center. She holds an MD and PhD, and has completed a fellowship recognized by the European Society of Cardiology, specializing in non-invasive cardiac imaging — the use of ultrasound, cardiac MRI and CT scans to diagnose heart conditions without invasive procedures.

During her PhD research, Dr. Wong published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and co-authored a textbook on cardiogenetic diseases (inherited heart conditions). She has received multiple research grants and awards for her scientific contributions. Her clinical expertise spans the full range of cardiology: she diagnoses and treats acute heart attacks, irregular heartbeats, heart failure, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. She is particularly skilled in using advanced imaging to identify cardiac problems early.

Dr. Wong believes strongly in patient education and practices evidence-based medicine with a holistic approach, aiming to help each patient achieve optimal cardiovascular health through prevention and personalized care.
