Dr. Robert Andrew Fearnley

Dr Andy Fearnley is a highly experienced consultant anaesthetist with almost two decades of clinical practice across leading hospitals in the UK and Middle East. He graduated with first class honours from the University of Cambridge in 2000 and trained at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital in London before advancing to specialist fellowships in liver transplant, hepatobiliary surgery, thoracic and airway anaesthesia, and intensive care medicine.

Dr Fearnley's expertise spans general and regional anaesthesia, paediatric anaesthesia, and complex transplant procedures. From 2014 to 2018, he was a consultant anaesthetist and clinical lead for kidney and kidney-pancreas transplantation at Guy's Hospital, where he anaesthetised patients for the first UK robotic kidney transplants in 2017. He has also led medicine safety initiatives and worked across a wide range of paediatric and adult surgical specialities in Abu Dhabi since 2018.
