Dr. Shabeena Khan Phatan

Dr Shabeena Khan is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology with over 18 years of clinical experience in women's health. She trained at Mamata Medical College in Andhra Pradesh, India, and completed her master's degree at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore. She undertook extensive training in reproductive medicine and in vitro fertilization at Homerton Hospital and Fertility Centre in London, and holds a fellowship in cosmetic gynaecology from the American Board of Aesthetic Gynaecology. She has worked at Apollo Hospital in Chennai and in private practice in Dubai before joining NMC Healthcare in Al Ain.

Dr Khan specializes in high-risk pregnancy management, infertility evaluation and treatment, normal and caesarean deliveries, emergency obstetric care, and both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic gynaecological procedures. She provides care across the full reproductive lifespan, including adolescent and menopausal health, menstrual disorders, and family planning. She is known for integrating advanced medical knowledge with patient-centred communication and culturally sensitive care.

She conducts patient awareness sessions on breast cancer, cervical cancer, and breastfeeding. Dr Khan is dedicated to continuous education and is recognised for her compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
