Prof. Thomas Nau

Prof. Thomas Nau is an orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of clinical experience treating trauma injuries and sports-related conditions. He trained at the Medical University of Vienna, where he completed his residency in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery in 2003, and holds Austrian certification from the Medical Chamber. Before joining King's College Hospital London Dubai, he worked as a specialist in sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery at Beijing United Family Hospital in China and American Hospital Dubai. He also holds an ongoing academic position as Adjunct Professor at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology in Vienna.

Prof. Nau specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, trauma management, and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. His clinical expertise spans acute trauma care, chronic sports-related conditions, and complex joint injuries. He has published research in the American Journal of Sports Medicine and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple academic journals, contributing to the evidence base in orthopedic trauma and sports medicine.
