Dr. Omar Aleter

Dr. Omar Aleter is a Staff Physician in the Nephrology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Medical Specialty Institute. He brings 15 years of clinical experience, including specialized training in kidney transplantation. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Aleter worked as a Staff Physician of Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology at Farah Medical Campus in Amman, Jordan, where he gained extensive experience managing complex kidney patients across the Middle East.

Dr. Aleter completed rigorous training across multiple leading institutions. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan, then completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then pursued specialized Transplant Nephrology fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, focusing specifically on managing patients after kidney transplant. His clinical expertise spans acute and chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, kidney failure, dialysis, and the rejection and management of transplanted kidneys.
