Dr. Amera Hemida Shewita is a senior anaesthesiologist with over 20 years of experience in anesthesia and critical care. She completed her master's degree in Anaesthesia and Surgical ICU from Tanta University, Egypt in 2009, followed by a doctorate in the same field in 2014, and a diploma in regional anaesthesia from Montpellier University, France in 2017. She worked for over 10 years at Tanta University Hospital and Tanta Cancer Institute before joining NMC Royal Women's Hospital in Abu Dhabi in 2015, where she continues to practice.
