Dr. Laura Paterson is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, bringing 17 years of clinical experience. She trained at the University of Aberdeen and completed specialist anesthesia training through the West of Scotland School of Anesthesia, followed by a dedicated fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. Before relocating to Abu Dhabi, she worked as a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Dr. Paterson manages a broad range of anesthesia services, with particular expertise in pediatric and neonatal general anesthesia, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (nerve blocks), and anesthesia for specialized surgical procedures including robotic and colorectal surgery, as well as ear, nose and throat (ENT) operations.
