He holds an MD in Anesthesia and a DM (Doctorate) in Neuroanesthesia and Neurocritical Care, making him one of the early specialists in this field. He trained at two prestigious institutes in India and has established neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care divisions at major private hospitals.
