Dr. Carla Baldrighi

Dr. Carla Baldrighi is a Consultant hand surgeon at Dubai Health with extensive training in pediatric hand surgery, congenital conditions, and microsurgical techniques. She completed her medical degree at the University of Verona in Italy and went on to pursue specialized training in trauma and orthopedic surgery at the same institution. Her expertise in microsurgery was developed through fellowships at two leading hand surgery centers: the Christine M Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

Dr. Baldrighi has spent her career treating complex hand conditions in children and adults, with particular focus on congenital hand anomalies, hand trauma, and microsurgical reconstruction. Her work spans both bone and soft-tissue surgery, and she has developed specialized skills in pediatric upper-limb reconstruction. She has published research on complex cases including ulnar dimelia and microsurgical approaches to pediatric hand problems.

Her clinical experience includes leadership roles at major pediatric and university hospitals across Europe—The Meyer Children Hospital and Careggi University Hospital in Italy, and Birmingham Children Hospital in the United Kingdom—before joining Dubai Health in 2022. She is well-suited for families seeking expert care for congenital hand conditions or for patients requiring complex hand reconstruction.
