Dr. Yousef Alattar

Dr. Yousef Alattar is a Consultant Cardiologist and Chair of the Division of Cardiology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He is French Board certified in cardiology and brings over 12 years of clinical experience to his practice. Dr. Alattar trained at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for his medical degree, then completed specialist cardiology training in Paris—one of Europe's most advanced programs—followed by a dedicated two-year fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou, affiliated with Paris Descartes University.

His clinical expertise spans advanced cardiac imaging, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and coronary artery disease. Dr. Alattar is skilled in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging and other advanced imaging techniques used to diagnose and monitor heart conditions. He is a member of prestigious professional organisations including the European Society of Cardiology, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, and the Emirates Cardiac Society.
