Dr. Ayman Saleh

Dr. Ayman Saleh is an interventional radiologist with over 30 years of experience practising in Sweden and the UAE. He trained at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has developed expertise across both Swedish and Emirati healthcare systems. His career has focused on delivering advanced, minimally invasive treatments guided by imaging technology, allowing patients to avoid traditional open surgery whenever possible.

Dr. Saleh treats a broad range of conditions using image-guided techniques. He performs arterial and venous interventions, embolization procedures to stop internal bleeding and treat fibroids and enlarged prostate, and minimally invasive creation of vascular access (AV fistulas). Beyond blood-vessel work, he carries out biopsies, drainage procedures, gastrointestinal interventions, and placement of catheters and medical devices such as port-a-caths. For cancer patients, he offers advanced ablation techniques using radiofrequency and microwave energy, as well as trans-arterial chemoembolization—delivering cancer medication directly to tumours via blood vessels. He also treats varicose veins using modern minimally invasive methods.
