Dr. Carlos Arias Duran

Dr. Carlos Arias Durán is an anesthesiologist and critical care specialist with extensive experience managing patients before, during, and after surgery, as well as those in intensive care. He trained at leading Colombian institutions: the National University of Colombia for his medical degree, the University Rosario for anesthesiology, and the University CES for critical care medicine. He has worked across multiple hospitals in Colombia, building expertise in complex surgical cases and ICU management.

Throughout his career, Dr. Arias has supported high-complexity surgeries including neurovascular, abdominal, thoracic, and obstetric procedures. He works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgery and critical illness. His approach combines current evidence-based practices with a focus on improving outcomes for patients in both the operating room and intensive care unit.
