Dr. Mohamed Al Jaabari

Dr. Mohamed Al Jaabari is a Staff Physician and Section Head of Electrophysiology at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute. With 21 years of clinical experience, he is a specialist in treating complex heart rhythm problems. He trained extensively in the United States, completing his cardiovascular fellowship and clinical cardiac electrophysiology training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, and served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at Georgetown University's Washington Hospital Center.

Dr. Al Jaabari has extensive experience managing a wide range of cardiac arrhythmias—irregular heartbeats—including atrial fibrillation (the most common arrhythmia) and ventricular tachycardia (dangerously fast heart rhythms). He performs advanced procedures such as cardiac device implantation (pacemakers and implantable defibrillators) and device extraction when needed. He is board-certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Nuclear Cardiology, and holds fellowship status with both the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr. Al Jaabari is an active leader in his field, heading the Cardiac Electrophysiology Working Group of the Emirates Cardiac Society and contributing book chapters on electrophysiology.
