Dr. Ivana Romac Coc

Dr. Ivana Romac Coc is a Staff Physician in the Ophthalmology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Surgical Institute. She trained in Croatia, completing her medical degree at the University of Zagreb Medical School and her ophthalmology residency at University Eye Hospital Svjetlost and University Hospital Center Zagreb. Before moving to Abu Dhabi, she worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Svjetlost, Croatia's largest private eye hospital, where she also taught and supervised residents.

Dr. Romac Coc specializes in corneal diseases, refractive surgery (including laser vision correction), cataract surgery with lens implants, and inflammatory eye conditions. She has been certified by both the UK General Medical Council and the Croatian Medical Chamber. She is an active researcher in corneal and inflammatory eye diseases, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and has served as an investigator in clinical trials for advanced intraocular lenses.
