Dr. Samih Tarabichi

Dr. Samih Tarabichi is an orthopedic consultant recognized across the Middle East for his expertise in knee replacement surgery. With 35 years of experience, he has performed over 25,000 joint replacement surgeries worldwide and trained at leading institutions including McGill University (where he completed his orthopedic residency from 1984 to 1987), the University of Illinois, Ohio State University, and Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Tarabichi specializes in advanced knee arthroplasty (joint replacement) and revision surgery—procedures to repair or replace damaged knee joints. He was instrumental in developing the Persona knee implant by Zimmer, which allows patients to achieve full knee bending and sit on the ground after surgery, a major advance in the field.
