Dr. Nafisa Ibrahim El Serafi

Dr. Nafisa Ibrahim El Serafi is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Hospital Sharjah, with four decades of clinical experience across five countries. She trained at Ain Shams University in Cairo and holds fellowship with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in the UK. Her career has spanned Egypt, Nigeria, Scotland, England, Wales, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, with the majority spent in maternity care at Al Zahra Private Hospital in Sharjah.

Dr. El Serafi manages the full spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological care. She guides patients through normal and high-risk pregnancies, handles both vaginal and caesarean deliveries, and manages postpartum recovery. She treats conditions of the female reproductive system including ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids, and addresses hormonal health from contraception through menopause. She also provides preventive screening (Pap smears) and fertility guidance.

She views obstetrics and gynaecology as essential partnership care, supporting women across all life stages with a combination of medical expertise and compassionate approach. Her fluency in Arabic, English, French, and Hausa enables her to communicate comfortably with diverse patient populations.
