Dr. Abeesh Padmanabha Pillai

Dr. Abeesh Padmanabha Pillai is a Consultant Nephrologist with over a decade of experience in kidney disease management. He completed his medical training in India, earning his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Government Medical College, Madurai, followed by specialist nephrology training at Madras Medical College, Chennai. Before joining LLH Hospital in Abu Dhabi, he worked as a Consultant Nephrologist across several institutions in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Dr. Abeesh manages the full spectrum of kidney conditions, from diabetes-related kidney disease and high blood pressure to complex glomerulonephritis and acute kidney injury. He performs specialized procedures including ultrasound-guided kidney biopsies, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, plasmapheresis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for critically ill patients.
