Dr. Saista Asif Amin

Dr. Saista Asif Amin is a Consultant Pediatrician and Specialist Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at American Hospital Dubai, where she also serves at the Al Barsha satellite clinics. She trained at two of the world's leading pediatric liver centers—King's College Hospital in London and the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto—and holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK). Her career includes leadership roles as Acting Consultant and Interim Head of Department at Al Qassimi Women and Children Hospital, and she is an adjunct clinical faculty member at the University of Sharjah.

Dr. Amin's clinical expertise spans pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, transplant hepatology, and medical education. She has a particular focus on pediatric liver diseases, gastrointestinal disorders in children, and complex nutritional care. She is an active member of the International Liver Transplant Society and has contributed to training programs for pediatric residents, serving as an examiner for clinical exams including the Royal College (MRCPCH) in the UAE.
