Dr. Hassan Alnuaimat

Dr. Hassan Alnuaimat is a Staff Physician in the Pulmonary Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida. He completed his medical degree at the University of Jordan School of Medicine, followed by residency training in internal medicine at Yale-affiliated Bridgeport Hospital and specialized fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Florida.

Dr. Alnuaimat specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine with advanced expertise in pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs), lung transplantation, and ECMO support (a machine that takes over heart and lung function during critical illness). He founded and directed the pulmonary hypertension comprehensive care center at the University of Florida and was a key leader in one of the top five lung transplant programs in the United States. He also directed the respiratory ECMO program and the pulmonary embolism response team there.

He is an accomplished clinical educator and researcher, having authored numerous articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and delivered presentations at scientific conferences worldwide. He has received multiple teaching awards throughout his career. Dr. Alnuaimat is bilingual in English and Arabic.
