Dr. Shehbaz Palekar

Dr. Shehbaz Palekar is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with 17 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery. He has spent over a decade working in the UAE, building expertise across diverse clinical settings. He trained at leading institutions including the University of Montpelier in France, the Medical University of Graz in Austria, and major teaching hospitals in India, where he completed an arthroplasty fellowship and held consultant positions.

Dr. Palekar manages the full range of orthopaedic problems affecting bones, joints and muscles. He is skilled in orthopaedic emergencies, trauma surgery, and both minor and major surgical procedures. His work spans acute injuries requiring immediate care through to planned operations.
