Dr. Ahmed Anous

Dr. Ahmed Anous is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with more than 10 years of experience, having trained and practiced extensively in Montreal, Canada before joining American Hospital Dubai. He specializes in the full spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, combining diagnostic precision with therapeutic endoscopy techniques.

Dr. Anous is an experienced therapeutic endoscopist skilled in complex procedures including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP (bile-duct stone removal), and advanced techniques like endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and submucosal dissection (ESD) for large polyps. He also performs minimally invasive endoscopic ultrasound with biopsy, stent placement for blockages, and endoscopic drainage of cysts and abscesses. Additionally, he offers endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty for weight loss and revision procedures after bariatric surgery, along with liver fibrosis assessment using Fibroscan technology.
