Dr. Muhyeddine Al Taki

Dr. Muhyeddine Al Taki is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at King's College Hospital London, Dubai Hills, with 17 years of clinical experience. A Canadian national, he completed his medical degree in 1999 and orthopaedic residency in 2006 at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre. He then pursued advanced training, including an AO Trauma Fellowship in the United Kingdom and multiple clinical fellowships in Canada at the University of Toronto and University of British Columbia, where he specialized in lower extremity reconstruction, joint replacement, sports medicine, and arthroscopic surgery. Before moving to Dubai in 2021, Dr. Taki served as Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery and Head of Orthopaedics at the American University of Beirut, where he taught and trained orthopaedic residents for 11 years.

Dr. Taki's clinical expertise spans hip and knee replacement surgery, revision joint replacement, sports-related injuries and ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic keyhole procedures, orthopaedic trauma, fracture management, and pediatric orthopaedic surgery. He emphasizes minimally invasive techniques to reduce pain and accelerate recovery. His research is active, with over 14 peer-reviewed publications and five book chapters to his name.
