Dr. Muhammad Shafiq

Muhammad Shafiq is a certified Orthotist and Prosthetist with considerable experience across the UAE and Pakistan. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Khyber Medical University in Peshawar in 2011, and holds licenses from the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Dubai Healthcare Authority. He is also certified by the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) and the USA in cranial orthotic management for head shape deformities.

Muhammad provides custom-made prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients of all ages. His work includes prosthetic rehabilitation for upper and lower limb amputations, custom foot orthotics for conditions like flat feet and high-arched feet, diabetic footwear programs, spinal bracing for scoliosis, and orthotic solutions for neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke, and Down syndrome. He also specializes in conservative management of pediatric head shape deformities using custom cranial orthotics.
