Dr. Rachel Kornrich

Dr. Rachel Kornrich is a Staff Physician in the Preventive Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience, including recent work as a Senior Physician in Women's Health at Kaiser Permanente Northern California and earlier leadership roles in academic medicine. She trained in family medicine at the University of Washington and completed a second residency in preventive medicine at Emory University, where she earned a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Kornrich specializes in helping patients prevent, treat, and reverse chronic diseases through evidence-based approaches that combine medical screening, medication when appropriate, and therapeutic lifestyle changes. She regularly focuses on dietary modifications, physical activity, sleep hygiene, stress management, and other non-drug strategies. She is particularly known for co-developing a Lifestyle Medicine practice at Emory that supports patients in making lasting, measurable improvements to their health and wellbeing.

She believes strongly in empowering patients to take an active role in managing their own health. Dr. Kornrich is board-certified in family medicine, preventive medicine, and lifestyle medicine, and holds additional qualifications in maternal and child health and reproductive health. She is based in Abu Dhabi and practices in English.
