Dr. Amin Hassan Abdelmagied is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi with over 28 years of experience. He completed his medical degree from the University of Gezira in Sudan in 1995, followed by specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Khartoum. He then trained extensively in the UK under the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, including posts at major hospitals such as Royal Maternity Hospital in Belfast, Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton, and several teaching hospitals in London, completing his UK National Training (CCST) in 2006.

Dr. Abdelmagied specialises in advanced minimally invasive (keyhole) gynaecological surgery, particularly laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. He has particular expertise in treating endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. Between 2007 and 2015, he was Lead Advanced Minimal Access Surgeon at Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, UK, where he established excellence teams delivering complex keyhole procedures. Since 2015, he has been leading gynaecology services at Danat Al Emarat Hospital, where the department has achieved accreditation as a Centre of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Endometriosis.
