Dr. Nader Darwich

Dr. Nader Darwich is a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon and Chairman of the Burjeel Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery Dubai. With over 30 years of clinical experience, he is recognized as one of the region's most trusted experts in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He is licensed to practice in France, the United Kingdom, and Syria. Dr. Darwich is French-trained, having earned his medical degree from Damascus University's Faculty of Medicine and completed postgraduate orthopedic training in France, where he began his career.

Since 1996, Dr. Darwich has successfully performed more than 11,500 surgeries in the UAE. His clinical expertise includes ACL reconstruction and revision surgery, meniscal repair, cartilage restoration techniques such as microfracture, patellofemoral disorders, high tibial osteotomy, and advanced knee arthroscopy. He has presented at over 70 international orthopedic and sports medicine conferences throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and has authored over 15 publications on ACL surgery, including journal articles and book chapters.

In 2006, Dr. Darwich founded the Abu Dhabi Knee and Sports Medicine Centre to bring specialized orthopedic care to the UAE and attract patients throughout the MENA region. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, making him accessible to a diverse patient population.
