Dr. Afnan Mohammed Safwat El-Asser is a board-certified radiology specialist with over 12 years of experience across Egypt and the UAE. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) and specialist qualification (MD in Diagnostic Radiology) at Menoufia University in Egypt. She has worked as a radiology resident at Fever Hospital in Cairo, then progressed to specialist roles at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi and University Hospital in Sharjah before joining Medcare in Dubai.

Dr. El-Asser specialises in ultrasound, CT scanning, X-ray, and fluoroscopy imaging across a wide range of clinical areas. Her particular focus is women's imaging—including obstetrics, gynaecology, and breast health.
