Dr. Merin Varghese

Dr. Merin Varghese is a Specialist Speech and Language Pathologist at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah, bringing over five years of clinical experience in both adult and pediatric care. She holds a Master's degree in Deglutology and Swallowing Disorders from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, and a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from the National Institute of Speech and Hearing in Trivandrum. Early in her career, she was the first Speech and Swallow Pathologist appointed at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and later conducted research as a Junior Research Fellow at NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences) in Bengaluru, where she focused on aphasia recovery in stroke patients.
