Dr. Nazar Albustani

Dr. Nazar Albustani is a Canadian Board-certified adult and interventional cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. Since 2005, he has been based at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, where he has performed more than 3,500 percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures—minimally invasive treatments to open blocked arteries. He is dedicated to treating complex heart and circulatory conditions using innovative techniques and advanced imaging.

Dr. Albustani's clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of adult cardiology. He manages heart valve disease, heart failure (both weakened and stiffened types), irregular heartbeats, and atherosclerotic disease (narrowing of arteries due to plaque buildup). He is skilled in non-invasive testing including exercise stress tests, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and echocardiograms (ultrasound images of the heart).
