Dr. Vikas Sood

Dr. Vikas Sood is a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with 27 years of clinical experience. He graduated from the University of London and completed extensive postgraduate training across the United Kingdom and Scotland, followed by specialist fellowships in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Before joining SSMC, he worked as a consultant in the UK for over seven years, developing particular expertise in facial deformity correction.

Dr. Sood specializes in orthognathic surgery (correcting jaw alignment), cranio-maxillofacial trauma (complex facial injuries), complex tooth and bone surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders (jaw joint problems), surgical treatment of head and neck skin conditions, cleft lip and palate repair in older children and adults, and salivary gland surgery.
