Dr. Ahmed Sherif

Dr. Ahmed Sherif is a Staff Physician in the Diagnostic Radiology & Imaging Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Diagnostics Institute. With over 20 years of clinical experience, he trained at leading institutions including Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha and Tampa General Hospital in Florida, where he also served as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of South Florida. He earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Sherif specializes in cardiothoracic and abdominal imaging, and has advanced training across multiple imaging modalities including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, cardiac catheterization, and nuclear cardiology. He holds five major board certifications from North America, Europe, and the Arab Board of Medical Specialization, making him one of the few radiologists with such broad international credentials. His expertise spans thoracic imaging, pulmonary imaging, and vascular imaging.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Sherif actively contributes to the radiology community as a reviewer for medical journals and a presenter at international scientific conferences. He is a valued member of several professional organizations including the Radiological Society of North America, the European Society of Radiology, and societies focused on cardiovascular imaging.
