Dr. Hena Firoza Kalam

Dr. Hena Firoza Kalam is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in women's health. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and a Fellow of the European Board and College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She trained in India, completing her medical degree at RIIMS Ranchi in 1999 and a master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Darbhanga, followed by specialist training in gynaecological laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) in 2011.

Dr. Kalam spent over 10 years working in Bahrain at Bahrain Specialist Hospital and American Mission Hospital before moving to the UAE in 2012. She joined King's College Hospital London (Dubai) after working at Medcare Women and Children Hospital. She performs a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological services, from routine pregnancy care and delivery to advanced keyhole and telescope procedures for conditions like fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic adhesions, and infertility investigations.

Her particular passion is in delivering babies and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, which she considers the modern gold standard.
