Dr. Mustafa Yousef Akar

Dr. Mustafa Akar is a pediatrician with more than 5 years of experience providing healthcare for children of all ages. He trained at Tishreen University in Syria, where he earned his MBBS and Master's degree in Pediatrics alongside the Syrian Board certification in the specialty. He currently practises at American Hospital in Dubai.

Dr. Akar has developed strong skills in intensive care settings, particularly in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). He is experienced with respiratory support machines and performs a range of procedures needed in acute paediatric care. His focus includes managing emergency conditions, caring for well children at routine visits, and diagnosing and managing the wide range of diseases and disorders that affect children.

He communicates well with both children and parents, helping families understand their child's condition and care plan. He is a good fit if you need paediatric emergency care, neonatal or intensive care support, or routine child health checks.
