Dr. Viet Nguyen

Dr. Viet Nguyen is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He trained in France, completing his medical degree at Lyon University Hospital Center (2010–2017) and his residency in anesthesiology and intensive care at Saint-Etienne University Hospital Center (2017–2022). Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked as a Consultant Anesthesiologist at hospitals across France, including ELSAN Private Hospital in Carcassonne.

Dr. Nguyen brings 9 years of experience in anesthesia and critical care. His clinical expertise spans advanced trauma anesthesia, regional (nerve block) techniques guided by ultrasound, anesthesia for complex cancer surgery, robotic surgery anesthesia, and management of continuous kidney-support therapy in intensive care. He also has experience with anesthesia for chest surgery, pediatric and newborn anesthesia, and brain surgery anesthesia.
