Dr. Fatima Hassan

Dr. Fatima Hassan is an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist with 12 years of experience providing comprehensive women's healthcare. She trained at Dongola University, Sudan (MBBS, 2009) and completed her clinical specialization through the Sudan Medical Specialization Board (MD, 2021). She now practises at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, where she manages patients across the full spectrum of reproductive health.

Dr. Fatima's clinical focus spans pregnancy care—from routine antenatal and postnatal care to complex high-risk pregnancies and recurrent miscarriage—as well as family planning and contraceptive counselling. She performs obstetric and gynaecological ultrasounds (both standard and detailed scans), inserts contraceptive devices (IUCDs and Implanon), and manages all types of delivery, including normal vaginal birth, instrumental delivery, twin pregnancies, breech presentations, and caesarean sections when needed. She also has substantial surgical experience in fibroid removal, hysterectomy, ovarian surgery, pelvic floor repair, and emergency abdominal procedures.
