Dr. Rahul Kumar Amte

Dr. Rahul Kumar Amte is an Associate Staff Physician in the Critical Care Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He brings 15 years of experience in intensive care medicine, having trained at some of India's most prestigious institutions including Sir J.J Group of Hospitals and K.E.M Hospital Pune. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked as a Consultant Intensivist at leading hospitals in Hyderabad including Yashoda Hospitals and AIG Hospital.

Dr. Amte specializes in managing critically ill patients across a range of acute conditions, with particular expertise in neurocritical care (brain and spinal cord emergencies), sepsis, poisoning, acute kidney failure, and trauma. He has a special focus on using ultrasound to assess and manage critically ill patients, and on optimizing nutrition in intensive care settings.
