Dr. Sana Mehek

Dr Sana Mehek is an experienced paediatrician with over 17 years of expertise in pediatric and newborn care. She completed her MBBS and MD in Paediatrics from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India. After beginning her career as a specialist in paediatric and adolescent care across India, she moved to the UAE in 2013 and has worked with prominent healthcare providers before joining NMC Medical Centre Sharjah in 2016.

Dr Sana manages a wide range of paediatric outpatient cases, administers immunizations, and addresses growth and development conditions. She has a particular clinical interest in newborns and postnatal infants, and is currently pursuing research on allergies and asthma at CMC Vellore. She has published work on Wilms tumour in paediatric oncology and spoken at international medical conferences on haemangiomas (benign blood vessel growths) in children.
