About Dr. Ahmed Eissa
Dr. Ahmed Eissa is an associate professor of critical care medicine at Cairo University with over 20 years of experience in intensive care. He graduated with honours from Cairo University in 1997 and went on to earn his master's degree in 2003 and medical doctorate in 2009. He now practises at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi, bringing extensive academic and clinical expertise to the region.
Dr. Eissa specializes in managing the most complex critically ill patients, including those recovering from organ transplantation (heart, lung, liver, and kidney), trauma victims, and patients requiring advanced mechanical circulatory support and ECMO (a heart-lung bypass machine). He has particular expertise in mechanical ventilation management and cardiac intensive care, helping patients breathe and stabilize when their organs are most compromised.
