Dr. Gihan Salah El Din Othman

Dr. Gihan Salah El Din Othman is a Consultant Pulmonologist at Saudi German Hospital in Dubai with over 20 years of clinical experience in respiratory medicine. He holds a Master's degree in Chest Diseases (1987) and a Doctorate in Chest Diseases (1995), and previously served as a Professor of Chest Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. Since 2013, he has practiced as a consultant pulmonologist across Egypt and the Gulf region, building a reputation for expertise in complex lung conditions.

Dr. Othman's clinical focus spans bronchial asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), bronchiectasis, sleep breathing disorders, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension. He is a skilled bronchoscopist—performing airway procedures to detect early lung cancer and obtain tissue samples—and has particular expertise in managing patients with severe respiratory problems in intensive care settings, including optimization of non-invasive ventilation.
