Dr. Nazir Mojahed Alahmad

Dr. Nazir Mojahed Alahmad is a Syrian board-certified gastroenterologist currently practising at Burjeel in Abu Dhabi. He completed his M.D. in 2013 from Albaath University and went on to earn a master's degree in gastroenterology and hepatology from Tishreen University Hospital in Syria in 2019. He is pursuing a Ph.D. at Damascus University and has published several research articles in international medical journals.

Dr. Alahmad has broad expertise in endoscopic procedures across gastroenterology. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies including dilation of strictures (narrowed areas in the food pipe and stomach), stopping bleeding, removing polyps, treating oesophageal varices (enlarged veins), and foreign body removal.
