Dr. Satish Haridasan

Dr. Satish Haridasan is an Associate Staff Physician in the Nephrology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Medical Specialty Institute. He trained in India, completing his medical degree at the University of Calicut and specialist nephrology training (DM) at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh. Before moving to Abu Dhabi, he served as Assistant Professor of Nephrology at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Puducherry, where he built substantial clinical experience.

Dr. Haridasan has overseen more than 500 kidney transplants, performed over 300 kidney biopsies, and managed dialysis across multiple treatment modalities. He is actively involved in clinical programs covering deceased donor transplants and peritoneal dialysis (home-based kidney cleaning). His research interests include lupus nephritis (kidney inflammation from autoimmune disease), malignant high blood pressure, and transplant outcomes.

He is well-suited for patients requiring specialist kidney care, whether managing chronic kidney disease, preparing for or recovering from transplant, or needing advanced diagnostic procedures such as kidney biopsy. Outside work, Dr. Haridasan enjoys drawing and reading.
