About Dr. Keep
Dr Jeff Keep is a UK-qualified Emergency Medicine Consultant with over 16 years of experience at consultant level. He currently serves as Head of the Emergency Department at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, having previously worked at King's College Hospital in London, one of the UK's leading trauma centres and teaching hospitals.
Dr Keep's clinical expertise spans emergency care for adults and children, trauma and critical care management, emergency ultrasound, and medical education. He is accredited to teach Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). His special interests include clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety, and sepsis management in emergency settings.
He brings a track record of leadership in quality and safety improvements. At the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, he chaired the Quality Improvement Committee and served as the national lead for sepsis in emergency care. In recognition of his contributions to the specialty, he was awarded The College Medal in 2019. Dr Keep is British, fluent in English and French, and is committed to improving patient outcomes through better systems and training.
