Dr. Rafeek Yusuf

Dr. Rafeek Yusuf is a Consultant Urologist with 40 years of experience, currently practising at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He trained in India, completing his MBBS and MS in General Surgery at Government Medical College, University of Kerala, followed by specialist training (MCh in Urology) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He then pursued advanced fellowships abroad, undertaking training in endoscopy and laparoscopy in Sweden and Germany, and advanced flexible endoscopy techniques in the USA. Throughout his career, he has been recognised for pioneering work in modern minimally invasive urological procedures.

Dr. Yusuf specialises in complex and rare urological cases, with particular expertise in kidney preservation, reconstruction surgery, and laser-based stone removal. He manages challenging conditions including renal cancers with vascular involvement, kidney aneurysms, complex urethral strictures, and stones in the upper urinary system.
