Dr. Ayman Tawfig Khalil

Dr. Ayman Tawfig Khalil is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He holds fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, reflecting advanced training and recognition across Europe. Dr. Khalil graduated from Khartoum University and completed his specialized neurosurgical training with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by subspecialist training at the Walton Centre in the United Kingdom, one of Europe's leading neuroscience centres.

Dr. Khalil's clinical focus spans the full breadth of complex neurosurgery. He treats degenerative spine conditions (worn discs, spinal stenosis), spinal trauma and injuries, spinal tumours, brain injuries from trauma, brain tumours, hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain), and peripheral nerve disorders. His international experience includes practice at the National Guard Hospital in Saudi Arabia, bringing diverse expertise to his current practice in the UAE.
