Dr. Shetal Gandhi

Dr. Shetal Gandhi is a Specialist Anaesthetist at Aster Hospital Dubai, bringing over three decades of clinical experience in anaesthesia across India and the Middle East. He trained in anaesthesia at Baroda Medical College, M.S University, India, and has worked progressively through roles in Gujarat hospitals and Oman before joining Aster Hospital in 2014.

His clinical focus spans perioperative anaesthesia for major surgical specialties including neurosurgery, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, urological, oral and maxillofacial, and obstetric procedures. He has developed particular expertise in regional anaesthesia techniques, including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and epidural analgesia for labour pain relief, which allow patients to have surgery or labour pain management with reduced need for general anaesthesia.
