Dr. Gopinath Narasimhan

Dr. Gopinath is a British-trained consultant ENT surgeon with over 18 years of experience managing ear, nose and throat conditions in both adults and children. He trained at Alder Hey NHS Foundation Trust Hospital in Liverpool, a leading centre for paediatric ENT, and holds dual fellowships in ENT surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England and Edinburgh. He completed specialist training in reconstructive and cosmetic nasal and facial surgery through the TIG Interface fellowship.

Dr. Gopinath has performed over 6,000 ENT surgeries across his career, including more than 1,000 paediatric procedures, 500 septoplasties (surgery to correct deviated nasal septum), 500 sinus operations, and 200 major ear surgeries. He specializes in minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty, as well as complex nasal bone reduction and turbinate surgery. For ear conditions, he offers tympanoplasty (eardrum repair), mastoid surgery, and hearing restoration procedures. He manages vertigo and balance disorders and performs paediatric procedures including adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and tympanostomy tube insertion.

Before relocating to Dubai in 2021, Dr. Gopinath was a consultant surgeon in the NHS and held an honorary senior lectureship at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent for five years. He is currently an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine & Health Sciences, Dubai, and serves on the DHA panel for consultant ENT licensing interviews in the UAE.
