Dr. Kamaleldin Ahmed Abdalmagid Altahmody

Dr. Kamaleldin Ahmed Abdalmagid Altahmody is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Dubai Health in the United Arab Emirates, where he has been practising since 2016. He previously worked at the Ministry of Health in Kuwait from 2009 to 2011. He holds a PhD in Cardiology from Tanta University in Egypt, along with a Master's degree in Cardiology and his foundational medical qualification (MBBCh), all from the same institution.

Dr. Altahmody specializes in interventional cardiology — the use of catheter-based techniques to treat heart conditions. His research interests include acute heart attacks (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) and advanced imaging techniques such as left ventricular global longitudinal strain assessment.
